MUD: what I learnt this week (week 14)
What I learnt the past weekS is more like it though, I didn’t even keep track of what week we’re at now!

Aaaanywho hello!
We’ve been practicing lip application non-stop because red lips is something that still gives make up artists the heebie-jeebies apparently.
It’s not easy but training an objective eye and a steady hand goes a long way!
Here’s a combination of what we saw in class, and what I noticed myself!
Look at your lips
Really look at them, don’t pose, don’t flinch, look at them in all their glory! 
What’s not quite right?
FOTD: Raspberry Truffles
Hmmm… raspberry truffles…
In my favorites I mentioned an Inglot shadow in shade DS 495, and then more specifically that I like to use it with a chocolate brown shadow around it.
But a pic says so much wore than words!
In my mind you can get away with so many shades when surrounding it with a warm brown!
Then again maybe that’s just me..

MAX Long Lasting glossy lipstick
A-ha! There we go!
I went out of the bathroom, and into the bedroom for pictures.
That seems to do the trick!!
You might notice I went back to brown hair by the way!

Ingredients
Color: Dimethicone, Cylomethicone, Mica, Polybutene, Phenyltrimethicone, Pearl powder, Silica, BHT, Propylparaben, Perfume
Gloss: Silicone, Polybutene, Caprylic Triglyceride, Tocopheryl acetate, BHT, Propylparaben
Packaging
From top to bottom: Blush, Deep Red, Cherry & Soft Nude
Typical drugstore packaging, nice and clean.
Both sides have a doe-foot applicator, which helps to really apply a thin layer.
Very important with these! But i’ll get to that later.

MAX cosmetics at Action
Today was my first day shopping at Action, it’s sort of like a Dutch Target.
Aka you don’t leave with nothing.
Of course I got warm socks. And gloves. I’m a dork like that..
But obviously the cosmetics ALSO caught my eye. 
I’ve read great things about these drugstore goodies..
SO much choice really!
Apparently they really make an effort to follow cosmetic trends as well, like with the nail art polishes and lip glosses with light.
