Spring Trends: Yummy Pastel
Going to pop right back in with a spring trend i’ve been eyeballing. Tons of brands are coming out with their pastel-inspired goodies and this trend is way too scrumptious to pass up on.
Literally. Marie Antoinette-style. “It’s like candy!”
Pastels usually need something to stick to so I used my white gel liner from Inglot as a base here!
Packed on a pinky lavender from the 88 matte palette, dusted some of that under the eye as well, and finished off the top with a clean line of Sleek’s Dip It Duo liner and purple mascara from 2B.
I wanted to keep the brows full, but natural, so they have a tiny bit of MAC’s Concrete though them (not cruelty free, still finishing mine up) and then a good amount of Essence brow gel on top to make them pass as natural. As us women do!
Scrub those lips real good! Use your toothbrush, some sugar, or a Lush scrub.
Using concealer over the lips can be tricky, but it should look smooth if you’ve gotten rid of all the dead skin!
So first a coat of creamy concealer on the outer edges of the lips! And for a creepy-but-cool looking effect some bright fuchsia lipstick to the center with Catrice’s Pinkerbell.
On the cheeks I wore a hint of fresh coral blusher to counteract the cool tones on the eyes and lips!
In my mind some other fun combos would be pastel orange with pink lips or pastel blue with a soft coral lip.
More spring trends coming up this week, can’t wait to try something wetlook.
So now: will you be spotted wearing macaron-shades on your face or never in a million years?
