I set the date! And smell good!
Yay! This Friday afternoon my hair will be colored!
Exciting!! ヽ( °◇°)ノ
I’m passing by the salon tomorrow to have them check out my hair dye, and discuss how they will be bleaching/coloring it.
Will be posting pictures before and after, and a how-to!
Also, off-topic, but I have found my new all-time favorite organic, cruelty free, vegan deodorant. It’s amazing.
One of the green beauty bible award winners too.
Urtekram is Denmark’s largest organic wholesale company.
The one I have is the crystal one, without perfume.
It just contains water, vegetable glycerine (to hydrate your skin), crystal (to manage the bacteria), and polysaccharide.
Nothing else.
You can however buy scented ones, if you like. I just find that this combines better with my own perfumes and body sprays (*^ー^)
It doesn’t keep you from perspiring, but it keeps bacteria from developing where you apply it.
So you won’t smell anything.
Which is a million times healthier than the deodorants you find in the drugstore these days.
Those contain alcohol, and more importantly most of them contain alluminium chlorohydrate, or another alluminium derivate.
This is the stuff that keeps you from perspiring, but how it DOES that, is it forms gel plugs in your pores. (¬、¬)
Doesn’t sound very healthy to me.
Long-term use has been linked to cancer as well, which isn’t surprising..
Since you’re spraying something around your lymph glands which clogs your pores.
My luftballons used to get sore when using these kinds of deodorants, and the Urtekram one has solved that.
You can buy Urtekram in loads of online stores, look and you will find!
Untill Friday, see you!
Busy days
Jinkies! I’m just NOT getting around to getting my hair dyed!
I have to do one more exam on Tuesday, so I can’t afford to take a few hours out of my day to go to the salon.
(even though the time I spend on facebook, youtube, and stalling at the supermarket does make up for that of course.)
It’s purely psychological, it feels less bad if I insert chunks of distraction throughout the day, versus going to the salon for 2 hours.
Anyway, I thought i’d post my juice of the day! Needed a bit of an energy boost but didn’t have much in the house.
7 large carrots, 4 small apples, and a nice chunk of ginger “on the rocks” lol. Nom nom!
Back to work! And such!
Where art thou juicer!
I’m going cold turkey right now.
I recently finished my exams at school, and decided to take a trip to Holland to visit family there.
Awesome weather here, I can ice skate, there’s snow, nature, it’s all so nice but no juicerrr…
I miss my celery, carrots, apples and ginger juice!
After 2 weeks of juicing aprox 500ml every day, I’d started noticing significant changes to my complexion.
It started looking more clear, and my black spots had severely diminished.
I also started experiencing a better appetite, snacked less (to the point where I reached for tasty juice instead of crisps),
it was really becoming a habbit.
It’s so weird not being able to do that at the moment, I didn’t even realize i’d become so used to it.
Also since i’ve been feeling a little under the weather the past few days, I think a vitamins and iron boost would really do me good.
Right now i’m just drinking a good amount of water and eating fruits and veggies the oldschool way. To compensate LOL.
But to be honest, it’s so much more of a hastle than just whipping some in my juicer. Not motivating. -_-’
2 more days and then I can juice again! Yay (^v^) very much looking forward to it!
